Welcome to the prestigious Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER), also known as Bharath Institute of Science and Technology (BIST). Established in 1984 as Bharath Engineering College, we have evolved into a deemed university with a rich history and commitment to excellence.

In 2002, BIHER attained deemed university status and, in 2003, transformed into Bharath Institute of Science and Technology, proudly contributing to Bharath University. Our main campus is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), accredited with the highest grade of A by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
