About the School :
The School Consists of two Departments.
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- Electronics and communication Engineering(ECE)
It is started in 1992 with two under graduate programs and in 2003 six post-graduate programs were added (M.Tech in Power Systems and Power Electronics & Drives offered by EEE , M.Tech in Digital communication and networking,Embedded system design, VLSI Design and Applied Electronics offered by ECE) . The school also offers research programs (Ph.D.) in the various fields related to Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Electronics & communication Engineering to cater to the ever challenging needs of technical excellence in all areas of both departments such as Communication systems, Wireless networks, Signal and Image Processing, RF MEMS and MIC, Microwave antennas, Optical communication and Photonics, VLSI technologies,IOT and Embedded Systems, Power System, HVDC transmission, Modern Electric Drives, Electric mobility and Renewable Energy. Both B.Tech (EEE) & B.Tech (ECE) program is accredited by Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), USA.
The department is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to carry out research work at all levels. The research focus of the department is in the area of power electronics, renewable energy systems, control systems, etc. The department also actively involved in multi-disciplinary research activities. The department has dedicated faculty, support staff, state-of-the-art teaching and research laboratories and is recognized for its excellence in research, teaching and service to the Nation.
The department provides healthy & competitive environment for all round development of students leading to several remarkable achievements in GATE, CAT, GRE, TOEFEL, PSUs etc. The faculties and students of EEE & ECE .
Departments do present papers in National and International conferences. The department is also having a very good industry institute interaction through Consultancy, Training Program, Collaborative Research work, student’s project work etc.
The School has MoU with Blue Hora University, Ethiopia, East Africa to share knowledge and experience to our students. The school also has Centre of Excellence in Electric mobility, VLSI Design and RF & Microwave Engineering in order to enhance the skills of faculty and students. Our placements are consistently above 90% for the past three years. Our students are placed in both core industries and software industries. Students are guided for placements right from the first year. We cater to various needs of our students. Students are encouraged to be part of various Student Development Clubs and are encouraged to participate in social activities through NSS.

Electronics and communication engineering is a fascinating and rapidly advancing field, with an ever-increasing demand for professionals skilled in this discipline.
It is an engineering discipline that deals with transfer of information using electrical and electronic means, enabling the development of a wide range of products and services. This field has grown exponentially, with the development of new technologies such as radio, television, and computer. With the advent of internet, the field has seen a huge surge in growth, with the development of new communication technologies such as mobile phones and satellite communication.
The need for faster, reliable and high speed data communication has created a potential demand for Electronics and Communication Engineers. The field has now developed new technologies in the form of integrated circuits, digital signal processing, and communications networks, which results into marketable products to address the current need of hardware and software industry.
The various courses taught in Electronics and Communication Engineering are categorized into different sub groups as follows:
Circuit design and analysis: Design, analysis, and testing of electrical and electronic circuits.This includes both analog and digital circuits, as well as mixed-signal and RF circuits.
Digital signal processing: Analysis and manipulation of digital signals. This includes design of digital filters, signal compression, and errorcorrection techniques.
Communications networks: Design, implementation, and maintenance of communication networks.This includes both wired and wireless networks, as well as the integration of different communication technologies.
Embedded systems: Design and implementation of embedded systems. This includes the design of microprocessors, microcontrollers, and embedded software.
Control systems: Design, analysis, and implementation of control systems. This includes both analog and digital control systems, as well as the integration of different control technologies.
Robotics: Design, construction, and operation of robots. This includes both autonomous and remote-controlled robots, as well as the integration of different robotic technologies.
Programming techniques: Programming software tools like C++, Python and Java are taught

B.Tech Electronics and communication engineering course have a wide range of career paths available to them.

Software Engineers: Application software Jobs
Industrial or manufacturing engineer: Design and implementation of manufacturing and production processes, design of production lines, development of automation systems, and optimization of resources.
Telecommunications engineer: Design and implementation of communication networks, Design of cellular networks, integration of different communication technologies and optimization of bandwidth.
Electronics engineer: Design and implementation of electronic systems, Design of integrated circuits, development of embedded systems and optimization of power consumption.
Computer engineer: Design and implementation of computer systems. Design of computer hardware, and optimization of system performance.
Network engineer: Design and implementation of network systems design of local and wide area networks, development of network security protocols and optimization of network performance.
Robotics engineer: Design and implementation of robotic systems design of robotic hardware, development of robotic software and optimization of robot performance.
